- Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing pools and pool equipment
- Perform basic pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment checks
- Perform intermediate level repairs and maintenance to pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, chemical controllers and sanitization equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/plumbing issues related to pools and equipment
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out repairs
- Provide excellent customer service while on-site for service calls. Service technicians will have direct interaction with clients (i.e end users and/or maintenance staff)
- Ability to read and draft reports of daily activities and work performed
- Qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair commercial pool equipment (including but not limited to pumps and filters)
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools proficiently
- Strong attention to detail to ensure pools are properly maintained and serviced
- Ability to follow direction and communicate clearly and often with supervisors
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients
- Dependable schedule and work hours
- Mechanical/plumbing knowledge to diagnose and repair pool equipment
